Why does macOS warn about Ohiyo?
The current Mac DMGs are beta/ad-hoc signed while Developer ID notarization is being completed. Gatekeeper may warn even though the release checksums are published on GitHub.
Should I use the browser app instead?
Yes if you want the smoothest first run today. The browser app at app.ohiyo.gg is the primary public beta and does not need the Gatekeeper workaround.
Will the Mac app be notarized?
That is the goal. Until then, Mac downloads remain clearly marked as beta and not Apple-notarized.
